Following the success of the Farmhouse Essex Restaurant, we have now moved away from our converted barn to external events and private catering. From cold buffets to in house serviced buffets, private dining experiences, afternoon teas and cook at home boxes, the Farmhouse at Home will bring the same flare and tasty food but in the pleasure of your own home or selected venue.
The Farmhouse at Home is based in Essex, and we can cater for events in Essex, Hertfordshire, and parts of London (subject to postcode). We will deliver directly to your door or chosen venue. Delivery starting from £5 from Wednesday to Sunday.

Cook At Home Boxes
Home cooked hearty meals prepared by our chefs and enjoyed by you. Our boxes serve 2, 4 or 6 people. Simply choose your menu and our chefs will prepare and cook your food from scratch. We’ll deliver your box straight to your door ready for you to cook, serve & (undoubtedly) enjoy. We’ll also provide you with disposable oven trays meaning less washing up after! With prices from £7.50 per person you can enjoy restaurant quality food in the comfort of your own home. Super quick, great quality, great value, great taste, why go out or order a takeaway? Staying in is the new going out which is why our Private Chef service is the new way to go. Let our Chefs and wait staff provide you with impeccable food and service and bring that extra special touch to your event. Our Private Chef service falls into two categories. The first being our set menus which are ideal for dinner parties. Our set menus have been designed by our founder & remarkable Chef. Through his love of Mediterranean food & using only the highest quality ingredients, he has created 3 menus to give you a taste of his culinary journey. Enjoy restaurant quality food in the comfort of your own home. The second category being our bowl food & street food which are perfect for larger and more casual events. For those times when you want guests up and mingling but still enjoying exceptional food at your event. With your choice of finger sandwiches, Farmhouse sausage rolls, loaded fruit scones with jam & cream and a selection of sweet treats, our Afternoon Tea’s are the perfect mix of sweet and savoury.
